March GlossyBox

Finally the anticipation has gone out the window and I arrived home this afternoon to find a my first beautifully packaged GlossyBox. First impressions were good, the contents were wrapped up in lovely tissue paper with a silk ribbon and sticker to hold it all together, all beautifully bundled in a pink GLOSSY BOX...funny that! I felt like it was my birthday the way I un-tied that ribbon, I did it with haste and excitement with eyes wide open to see what was inside - that's the thing about this Glossybox experience, you feel good about yourself, its like someone has sent you something special and forget that you have in fact given yourself a gift, we are aloud to do that sometimes right? So, this is what I received....

Mitchell and Peach Body Cream
With English honey, organic cocoa, vitamin B5 and shea butter.
£36 for 180ml
Shop on the Mitchell and Peach website here.
( have't tried it yet but when I do, I will update you, smells amazing! )

Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd Shimmer Powders
A shimmering eye shadow that will provide you with a long lasting vibrant colour without smearing, creasing or fading.
£12.99 for 2.35g
Shop on the Bellapierre website here.
(also not tried, update in order!)

Juicy Coutre Malibu Collection
Very summery, fruity scent to both samples. Not an Eau de Toilette I would normally go for, because if I am honest, I wouldn't be drawn to that brand but it's not bad, an easy casual scent!
£47 for 75ml
Buy from your nearest department store.

Dove Hair Therapy Intensive `repair 60 Second Treatment Shot
Now, I know why they have sent me this....when you first sign up to Glossybox you have to fill out a questionnaire which is great - it asks you what your hair type is, what your skin type is, what colours you like and what make-up you usually wear and so on. From that information they build a profile for you and send you products that would match your wants and needs. SO....I put down that I have coloured hair, completely bleached right through to be precise (YIKES) and that it often gets a bit dry. So this is them just thinking of me really and wanting to help me out a little, I like that.....I give you money and you send me treats to make me look semi respectable...thank you!!!
£1.49 for 15ml (bargain)
Buy from the obvious places!!
( Again, not tried it WILL UPDATE!!!)

Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish
First of all, totally love the name...pout polish, nice!  This is a tinted balm with SPF 15, almond oil, shea butter & vitamin E....and guess what I have tried this one (see images below), I actually have it on as we speak.
I don't normally wear lip balm apart from liberally applying Carmex about 20 million times a day at this time of year. I am also not a big fan of gloss or colour unless its a sultry red but I genuinely do like this for an everyday lip nourishment, will look great with a tan and will defiantly be added next to the other beauty products that are sparsely hanging around in my hand bag.
£4.49 for 10g
Buy from Sleep MakeUP website here.

i would buy this house...

I have always thought that my mum's house could be in one of those homes magazines. She has a great sense of style when it comes to home interiors and has a huge influence from Shaker, Scandinavian and English country homes. Most of her inspiration however, has come from her collection of Country Living magazines that date back to the early 1980's (1983 to be precise) - she claims she has every single issue apart from a couple that she missed when us Saville children were babies. Mum has become quite attached to these publications and says she could never get rid of them, she even has them stacked up in date order….I know!!!!
Thought I would share some images of details around her house, the kitchen ones aren't great quality as they were taken from online. Also, if you would to have a nosey on her Pinterest boards, she has some amazing home decor inspiration, then follow the link here.

Glossybox

I have recently signed up to Glossybox to receive a little selection of beauty treats every month. I have been meaning to do it for ages as I am so clueless when it comes to these kinds of products - I never actually know what to buy and have been using the same stuff forever! So, I thought a good way to get myself in tune with what's hot, would be to sign up and test whats on the shelf. I have read a few reviews and it seems to be a pretty good deal for £10 a month, so now I am pretty excited about seeing what's in my first delivery....I will keep you posted!

Hoping for treats like this......

Monki must haves

Monki must haves

Monki must haves by esme-saville featuring a black satin bra

I came across the label MONKI on ASOS a while back and cannot wait to grab myself some bargains come payday. The stuff is really reasonable and they have a huge range of basics, like shown above. Most of my wardrobe consists of simple, basic clothes. I find them comfortable and easy to put together. I don't normally follow trends as such, I just try to stick to my style and go with it. Give me skinny jeans, a plain tee any day and I'm happy!

At some point down the line I would love to buy some ACNE pieces. The boots, leather jacket and basic tee above are on my wish list! to view my all blacked out board on Pinterest click here.

summer loving

After the sun shining today with the bright blue skies, it has definitely put me in the mood for the summer! Even more so that I am now living at home and the beach is literally a 5 minute walk down the road! I can feel the happy endorphins from the sun working their magic already! Thought I would share the excitement with these summery images!
This photo above reminds me of the summer I spent in Greece, where me and some Aussie friends went on a boat trip (in other words a booze cruise but we won't go there!). We all ended up launching ourselves off the boat into the water and considering we were about half an hour into our "boat trip" I'm surprised we were all still afloat, not to mention our next challenge which was to clamber up this 50ft or so rock and jump or dive naked (optional) from the top! The Pink Palace, Corfu, I will never forget you! If you are looking for a bit of a wild, singles get away or stop over with your friends and fancy braving what The Pink Palace has to offer, then check out their website here.

This is Candice Swanepoel (above) the stunning South African model, funny how she feels the need to super impose her face onto my body, weird!
